Through obstacles and tricks,
Running through bricks,
run to me and get your six,
Setting goals by making a play
Only 4 downs to make your day,
To score, and make the opponent pay.
Always wanting your hopes and dreams,
Catching and running that ball left and right,
4 plays to win the fight,
After you score you go for one more,
being a champion,
to get the trophy in store.
Off season to games to playoffs,
pushing all the way through,
always have to reach your goals,
wanting to get through the plane,
Never backing down because its only a sprain.
Tearing a muscle or breaking a joint
Im only worth 6 plus a point,
Running with all your might through all your walls,
Remember to have faith before your heart falls,
I will be the person with that crown,
The only reason why i'm a touchdown
I was able to catch your metaphor QUICK (which is a good thing). You described it very well to the point where I can understand what's going on and what it's all about. The structure went out well too, it was in an order that flowed. Your word choice was easy for me to see and follow, and the rhyming is good too. Overall, this poem was really good and the ending part went out great 👍
